Suzuki Releases Video Showcasing the Development of its New Hayabusa NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle

BREA, CA – April 28, 2023 – Suzuki Motor USA released a video today featuring an inside look at its partnership with Vance & Hines and the development of Suzuki’s newest entry into the NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle class. The video showcases the development of the team’s new Gen3 Hayabusa Pro Stock Motorcycle and what it takes to create a 200+ MPH NHRA Pro Stock drag bike. The new bike debuted this season with a win at the Gatornationals in Gainesville, Florida.

The video takes viewers for a look at this bike’s development from concept renderings of the Gen3 Hayabusa and engineering of the new drag bike body utilizing 3D body scans of a new Hayabusa production model. CAD/CAM software renderings and state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques ensure key Hayabusa design cues are blended with the needs of a successful NHRA Pro Stock drag bike. Featuring six-time NHRA champion and current Vance & Hines crew chief Andrew Hines and four-time NHRA Champion Eddie Krawiec, the viewer gets a behind-the-scenes look at how this incredible machine came to be.

Highlighting key stages of this successful project, the video culminates with the new bike’s domination at its maiden race. Vance & Hines’ rookie phenom Gaige Herrera piloted the bike to the win at the 2023 Gatornationals setting a new track record in the process.
